About Take Meds Seriously Oregon

Deschutes County Health Services and partners extend immense gratitude to the Colorado Consortium for Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention who generously gave permission to replicate and tailor the Colorado “Take Meds Seriously” campaign for use here in Oregon. Deschutes County Health Services staff and Shared Future Coalition members worked together to refine this campaign for use in Oregon. The Lincoln County Health Department contributed resources to translate the campaign content into Spanish. The Central Oregon Health Council has contributed expertise and resources to increase the regional distribution of the campaign.

This project has been made possible through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s Strategic Prevention Framework Partnerships for Success grant to the Oregon Health Authority (OHA). The OHA awarded sub-grants to Deschutes County Health Services and the Lincoln County Health Department for the purposes of reducing prescription drug misuse and abuse in our communities.
